Last night a driver pointed a gun at me while I was commuting home on bike on NE 40th St. I called the police but I never got a license plate. I was wondering if anyone was driving on the University Bridge at 655pm who has a dash cam to help me with a license plate number.
He turned south on Eastlake Ave E and went across the bridge, and I think I saw him in the left turn lane which means he would have turned left onto Fuhrman Ave E after traveling south on the bridge.
Time of incident : approximately 6:55pm Vehicle : Army Green, 2025 Toyota Tundra Person : White male with black baseball hat
No one else was in the vehicle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve already contacted Seattle DOT and the SPD. There is a traffic camera on the U-Bridge but it seems to be under maintenance and is not accessible on the web.seattle.gov/travelers/ web page.
Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please don’t use this as an avenue to shit on SPD, they were actually quite nice and helpful, but with out a license plate number I also couldn’t do my part in catching this guy, also I really don’t need your negativity right now.
