I found what looks very much like a dark brown/white paws pet cat by the side of 99S just north of Des Moines/14th Ave S exit- pic for location

As I was headed south on south of Burien and headed into Tukwila on 99, I was pretty sure I saw an adult dark brown cat with white paws and a white small chest patch lying just a quarter mile north of the 14th Ave S exit on 99 southbound. I turned around, circled back, and checked; I didn’t want to leave it if it was still alive. It was clearly gone for some time; maybe at least a day? It appeared to have been healthy and well groomed.

It is by the side of the road on the left; I have nothing with me to carry it, but if anyone is looking for their pet cat (no collar) I will send a pic in a DM and tell you exactly how to find it. Obviously I’m not posting a pic here. I’d pulled over on the left and just took a pic out of my windshield so you can see right where I was.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m a cat person too and I would want to know. It looks like it was struck, passed away, and did not suffer.
