my (68f) friend (73f) and I have some time off between christmas and new year’s and wanted to get together to do something kind of fun together. we both drive, but we’re not super active as in hiking, etc. and we don’t want to run into not being able to drive because of snow. we’ve spent time on whidbey island before so maybe not there.
we both live a little north of seattle and are trying to think of a fun day trip to take together… somewhere interesting, not too expensive, not overnight… just spend some time together and see some beautiful things. we don’t want to spend the whole day driving, but 2-ish hours driving to something would be okay. we’re happy to find a nice place to have lunch too.
any good ideas?
