I’m really disheartened to see how public schools will be negatively impacted by this budget. In the Bellevue School District, every school is being forced to shift its FTE allocations — either by bringing district employees back into the classroom or by choosing not to renew a number of teaching contracts for next year. As a result, class sizes in core subjects like math, science, and English will increase.
