TL;DR: Meticulous men’s haircut for $29 (tax-included).
I routinely hear men in Seattle looking for reasonably priced hairstylist recommendations, so I am compelled to share my experience.
So, I’ve been looking for a new hairstylist. Having rather troublesome curly/wavy hair, I’m always on edge when trying new stylists. Consequently, I often find myself spending 80+ with tax/too and some bougie salon every two months which is…rather annoying.
I just received an excellent (particularly for as a first timer) haircut for $29, and I happily gave her $40. I’m a rather picky, fashionable professional who takes their appearance quite seriously, so my bar isn’t particularly low. She’s a bit older, so I don’t know if she’s for you if you want a tight barber fade, but I was very satisfied with her attention to detail and the result.
No nonsense. Doesn’t talk much, but she spent more time actually cutting my hair in 30 minutes than the 45 minute appointments I’ve received elsewhere.
She’s been at her modest location for 19 years. I wish I had found her sooner and would have saved literally thousands over the 15+ years I’ve been in Ballard.
If she sounds like your cup of tea, don’t hesitate to give her a shot!
