My girlfriend and I came for a visit.. coming from a deep red state.. we wanted to spend our time and money somewhere liberal and Seattle checked every box for us..
We stayed at a AirBNB and used public transportation.. wanting to support local communities.. public transportation was on time and efficient.. your city is not only walkable it’s so beautiful with so many flowers and trees..
Each day we selected a part of Seattle to visit and our favorite by far is Capitol Hill.. we loved the vibes and the people were welcoming and friendly.. a shout out to Dough Joy!! We got there right after it closed and while we were looking for another place to get coffee and something sweet.. a worker came out and presented us with half a dozen of the most delicious donuts we’ve had seen .. a super kind gesture 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️❤️.. the donuts were amazing!!
As we walked back to the Link Station we shared our treats with someone that was hungry.. a kind gesture that created an opportunity for another kind gesture..
Thank you again Seattle for a wonderful and relaxing vacation.. we will be back!!
