Why are drivers so angry haha

At an intersection just now (65th and 12th in Roosevelt) I got called a bitch by a white woman in a light blue Mazda as she drove past me. For context, she was in the bike lane trying to turn right on a red with a light that clearly said NO RIGHT ON RED. She lightly touched on the gas and I, a pedestrian, pointed to the sign and smiled at her. She mouthed, sarcastically, “I know I can see.” To which I mouthed back, “then don’t turn right” with a lot of head nods and fake smiles. Maybe I started it but I’m not trying to be mowed down by a driver who’s obviously in a hurry. She looked stupid as hell flying into her right turn as more pedestrians were attempting to walk by.
