Mid-30s with a BA degree. Been job searching for over a year and can’t seem to get a foothold anywhere. I’m seeing lots of entry level roles paying ~$22 an hour, and Director level roles in six figures, but little to nothing in-between. Say what you want, but $22 an hour is not a living wage in this city.
My career trajectory hasn’t been the most linear but I have a solid set of skills and strong resume and can barely catch an interview.
Am I cooked? Do I need to finally leave Seattle? Is this city only for tech bros anymore?
