Seattle times subscription

I have the digital subscription to Seattle times with Sunday paper delivery. Just tried to cancel my Sunday physical paper. I love the digital version but never read the paper version. They said it’s going to cost more to just go digital. I can’t imagine the business model behind this. Anyone have any idea as to why Seattle times would want to make it more expensive to go all digital? Seems like printing a paper would be expensive for them. The salesperson gave me a non-answer. I’m genuinely curious!
