I’ve used it two days in a row now. The streetcar doesn’t seem to abide by any kind of schedule, even the live arrival times displayed at the stations are wrong. Today there was no blockage or reason not to leave Westlake on time that I could tell. Just seemed like the driver couldn’t be bothered.
In addition, on both trips I’ve had an extended stop at Terry and Thomas for a painfully un-hurried driver exchange.
Normally I’m pro-transit and even pro-streetcar but this is no way to run a serious transit service and reminds me a bit of how the monorail used to function as a tourist attraction primarily.
They’re just making it easy for the city to pull the plug on this one especially considering most of the route is doubled-up by the much better-run C Line.
