Heya fellow Washingtonians! Summer is finally here and I’m looking for some outdoor activity friends in the Tacoma/Seattle area.
I’ll be honest, making friends when everyone else you know is married is tough. It gets lonely, and I’m really not trying to spend summer alone again. I’m trying to have some fun and make some awesome genuine friendships.
Prefacing this post, I know there are already existing meetup groups, but I’m unable to join those due to my work schedule. I’m looking for more personal ongoing connections. Dating apps and meetupdotcom have given me no luck either.
ABOUT ME
My name is Larry, I’m 33 years old and live about 20 minutes south of Seattle in Kent/Tukwila area. My friends would describe me as “chill”, “laid back”, and “goofy”. I’ll start off a little reserved, but I’m pretty social and definitely can enjoy some witty banter.
Overall I’m quite versatile and enjoy a little everything: hiking, paddle boarding, camping, drinks at the bar, volleyball, kayaking, ultimate frisbee, live music, comedy shows, cooking etc. I think for me I’m always having a good time no matter the activity so long as I’m in the company of good folks.

– Favorite movie is Emperors New Groove – I’m writing a cookbook – Love all music including Country – I do amateur modeling and stream on Twitch as side hustles.
Admittedly I’m single and wouldn’t mind a date with the right lady if the vibe is there, but ultimately some good friends will do just fine. Right now as it sits, I’m off Sundays and Mondays, with the occasional Saturday.
