Downtown is spick and span right now

I was downtown every day this week for a conference and really shocked by how clean it was. I was walking from the Westin to the conference center to the area near the central library via freeway park to the water front and bussing off of 3rd so I feel like I got a pretty good look. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it this clean in 30 years of living in the city and/or working downtown.

I’m guessing this is a result of the election year for the mayor?

This is the infamous 3rd & pine that everyone always cites as the most dangerous and chaotic part of downtown (and I would normally agree!).
