Carpet cleaning recommendations?

Anybody have good carpet cleaner service recommendations locally? How much does it typically cost per room or based upon sqft?

And for anyone that’s done this before, how does it work with furniture – do they pick items up, clean, and then replace in their spots? Or do they leave items (especially the heavy ones) in place and clean around them?

Do you need to leave the house or can they work around an adult working from home? We have small kids so it would be a hassle to have to leave the house for a day or two so I’m wondering if this is something that can be done early in the day when the kids are out of the house and then have everything be good to go by the evening.
