First off, thank you all for the great input about where to post it for rent when we get to that point. I’m going to have photos taken…should I post those or wait and send them directly to interested individuals?
Any suggestions on pricing would be so great. We were charging $2500 since 2020 and now I’m seeing from $3000 up into the stratosphere. (If it helps, we are not looking to squeeze anybody, just to be fair and have a great neighbor.) The really nice fellow who just left was a corporate attorney; he came for three months and stayed 5.5 years.
The Guest House is semi-detached so private and quiet. Looks to gardens and trees, but nice and bright with huge windows. Oh. One bedroom with a work alcove, walk-in closet, nice bathroom. No tub, but nice walk-in shower. Living room has a very nice stainless steel and quartz kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher. Vaulted ceiling. It’s nicely furnished, two flatscreen TVs, pretty much everything. Utilities are included, along with personal (non-work) WiFi. It has air conditioning. Parking.
The area is great for walkers but has zero walkability in terms of getting to restaurants and shops. A car is essential. It’s five minutes to Whole Foods.
This is so different from the apartments I see advertised. The feeling is charming and more like a cottage feeling rather than the new high rises. You get inside and leave the city behind.
Oh, it has a nice sun deck and a skylight and beams in the main room.
Any suggestions? Anywhere I can plug all that in and get a tighter price range?
Thanks!
