Seems like a big missed opportunity.
In November 2022 we approved the ballot measure to use ranked choice for primaries. The ballot measure had a deadline of 2027 for the implementation and of course King County Elections isn’t implementing it until then: https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/elections/ranked-choice-voting-in-seattle
