TSA Touchless ID now available for some passengers at SeaTac

For Delta and Alaska passengers who enroll in Touchless ID (must have US passport and TSA PreCheck to enroll; you don’t need to bring your passport with you when traveling domestically), you can now use these special lanes at checkpoints 2 and 5. Note all security lanes were re-numbered recently due to the addition of a new checkpoint 1.

You should be able to enroll by entering the required info into your profile on the airline website. For those with privacy concerns, yes this program does take your picture to compare with the photo from your passport.

Most people seem to agree that the lines for this generally move faster even than CLEAR + PreCheck. Delta (not sure about Alaska) also uses Touchless ID opt-in for expedited bag drop.

Especially since so few people will know about this for a while, requiring PreCheck, and it being limited to two airlines for now, this can probably whisk you through security even on extremely busy days.
