Stretching through most of Cal Anderson Park and on Broadway about half a mile from Denny to Roy. Someone hung a “No Pride During Genocide” from the Casa Del Rey stairwell railing. I understand where they’re coming from but I think we still have to celebrate the things that have gotten better in the long run (despite recent setbacks), or we’ll go too crazy thinking only about what’s going wrong in the world.
