Thank you based City Council for banning RealPage

My lease is coming up for renewal in August, I had actually signed a new lease just before the RealPage ban happened. I assumed that meant that the ban wouldn’t affect my rent for another year, but today my landlord sent me a email telling me that “the rates for August have decreased” and they were legally required to give me the opportunity to sign a new lease with the reduced rent. I’m pretty sure this is probably related to the RealPage ban, so thank you very much for that, City Council.
