Why is AMC Thornton so much more expensive than other theaters?

I was so shocked by Thornton’s ticket prices that I did some research and found that they are WAY higher than the rest of the Seattle area.

See below for Superman ticket prices, all priced using Fandango, adult tickets, 7:30-8:30pm start times tonight, non-3D, non-IMAX.

• Regal Meridian: $20.99
• Regal Crossroads: $18.01
• AMC Oak Tree: $17.84
• Regal Landing: $17.84
• AMC Pacific Place: $17.31
• AMC Southcenter: $17.31
• AMC Factoria: $15.95
• Cinemark Lincoln Square: $15.19

Anyone have ideas why?
