i saw that mortar firework fall into your yard (45th & I5)

i was walking past the alley next to blue moon tavern around 9pm last night when i happened to look up and see a sparkling object fall from the upper floor of a building on the east side of the alley, and watched it fall into the fence-in yard of a ground floor unit of a building on the west side of the alley.

i immediately knew what it was and when it exploded it sounded like it could have caused some real damage.

if anyone needs a witness or statement, respond to this post (do not direct contact me, i have like 10,000 unread reddit messages)

i actually love fireworks. and i’m cool with hijinks. but that one seemed… irresponsible.

hopefully everyone was okay and there was no damage done!
