For context im a 22 year old arab female living in ID, (i guess i could be considered conventionally attractive?) i often travel to get my groceries using the light rail (qfc ftw) yesterday at around 1, as i was waiting for the bus in front of the station, this man walks up to me with a camera. i dont think anything of it, and i just continue listening to music. as he walks by, he positions the camera towards me and takes a photo with flash. i think. what? he doesn’t say a word to me, and continues down the bus stop taking photos of buildings and other random people, like a man in a blue shirt walking down the street. i wait maybe 5 more minutes when my bus pulls up, i stand up, groceries in hand, and zone out while i wait for the doors to open. the man walks directly in front of me, lines the camera up with my eyes, and snaps a photo directly in front of my face, flash and all! i just stay straight faced and get on the bus as a man asks, “do you know him??” i say “no,, he just took two photos of me,, idk what just happened” clearly if i were in a better position i would of said something but ive been very sick and i just wanted to get home without getting beat up / mugged. does anyone have a single idea of what went on yesterday?? why the hell was he snapping photos of me??????????
