I found a baby bunny on the sidewalk during a walk in Upper Queen Anne yesterday. It appears to have rolled down a small slope from its borrow. Consulted paws.org, which said to put by its borrow. Mama bunny is supposed to check in dawn/dusk and take it in. Well, it’s the morning and the baby is still where I left it, which means mama bunny is likely dead. The baby still breathing, but I don’t think it has much time left. Paws.org says they cannot take Eastern Cottontail bunnies. Is anyone qualified and able to try to nurse it back to health?
