Hi Seattle, I’m a first grade teacher in the skagit area. I have a donors choose project that I’m trying to share with my community but haven’t had too much luck so I’m expanding my horizons and hoping I don’t get downvoted too much here. I’d love to be able to give my students a big classroom rug where we can gather for morning meetings, work collaboratively, and join in on story time. My project is almost halfway funded but it closes September 1st so I’m trying to get it out there in case anyone is interested in donating a few bucks towards it. A single dollar could get us closer to our goal!
I also have a wishlist linked in my profile if you would like to support me in setting up my new classroom. Our district closed down a school and I was moved to a new building/grade level so I’m having to start over in building an inclusive and safe space for my students.
