I was driving on a main road with steady traffic. A small gap opened up in front of me, at the same time, some guy trying to pull out from a neighborhood road decided not to wait his turn and instead tried to cut into that gap. The problem was, I was already halfway past him, so there was no way for me to let him in without slamming my brakes.
He didn’t like that and started freaking out, making hand signs and looking like he was about to have a meltdown over waiting a few extra seconds. When I checked my rearview mirror, I saw him yelling in his car at me, then pulling out his phone and what looked like taking a picture of my license plate.
I’m not really worried since I didn’t do anything wrong, but it was such an unreasonable amount of road rage that it left me concerned. Can some random angry driver actually find out my home address from my license plate? It feels creepy, and I’d hate for my family to deal with someone like that showing up just because I didn’t let them cut me off. Thanks for your input
