The current I-405 freeway from Renton to Bellevue is one of the poorest designed freeway projects in the country as when it is finished it will still only have 2 general purpose lanes in each direction, a joke and a traffic nightmare. The public demands we get the additional general purpose lanes we were promised in the master plan. Incompetence runs high at WSDOT as they are so out of touch with the public as they don’t listen anymore.
