While the state has ordered (https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/health/covid-vaccine-available-to-all-wa-residents-6-months-and-older-state-says/) that everyone older than 6 months be able to access COVID 19 vaccines in Washington, my experience at a Seattle Walgreens raised questions.
I qualify anyway, but when they asked me to attest to having one of the listed conditions, I asked them if they are contravening the state’s public health order. The pharmacist did not reply directly but instead said that Walgreens requires them to input the information before proceeding.
If something like this happens to you, I encourage you to do what I did and follow the state’s instructions to report it to the Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission https://nabp.pharmacy/bop_members/washington/
Good luck, neighbors! Stay healthy out there.
