Cedarcrest high-school issue

So we all know there was a public shooting that happen to a far right person named Charlie. The high-school sent around a message expressing sorrow of such a valuable person who promoted free speech and open conversation being assassinated. In of it self that was a poor statement but ok feel how you feel. However, the board came back doubling down when people reacted poorly because students were watching this live, now that made me upset. How can you claim to be an open safe school for all while allowing student to watch hateful rhetoric in the classroom. Those two don’t mix especially since as he was shot he was going into his issues with the Trans community. There are trans students in the school so how is it a safe place for all. Make it make sense.
