Cop told me they were investigating a domestic violence incident in the area and stopped the two women in the video as potential witnesses (neither of them were ever suspects) then something happened (cop was unclear, mentioned interfering with an investigation and assaulting an officer, we didn’t see any of that) which led to what you see in this video. He claimed his footage of the event explains their actions, maybe that’s true and I hope to see their footage. I find it confusing and concerning that them stopping two pedestrians not suspected of committing a crime escalated to violent arrest. On a different note I saw two people in vests that said social services earlier today helping a man in a wheel chair who seemed to have passed out on the street corner, one of them was feeding his dog.
