CenturyLink just screwed me. CL is transferring my account to Quantum Fiber, and QF won’t allow me to have a static IP address.

Got an email today from CenturyLink; they’re transferring my account to Quantum Fiber, and according the 17 different people I called and was transferred to, there’s exactly FUCK ALL I can do about it.

I will not be able to have a static IP address at QF.

I need a static IP address for work.

Does anyone know of an ISP that does NOT suck donkey balls?

According to https://broadbandmap.fcc.gov fucking Xfinity cable internet is the only other option that has gigabit speeds, so hooray for fucking monopolies.

What the hell?
