Disturbing images outside of the Puyallup Fair

Yesterday, husband and I took our toddler and our niece to the fair. We had a great time eating Krustypups, watching the kids on rides, winning cheap stuffies for the girls. Got nice tans, met nice people. Shoutout to the guy who didn’t really scan our passes so the girls could ride extra rides!

However, on our way out towards the Gold parking lot, there were fliers scattered around with images of a decapitated baby all over the crosswalk. Myself and another young woman picked them up, and I ripped them up, tossed them into recycling.

I get that freedom of speech is a thing, that includes passing out literature, but can we please refrain from leaving these types of graphic images littered over the ground? I’m grateful our kids didn’t see them. They’re too young to understand what they’re seeing and I’d rather not traumatize children. If you see stuff like that outside the fair and can handle the images, please help a mother out and get rid of them before some impressionable little kid sees them? Life is hard enough without shoving dead babies in our kids faces.
