What’s good everyone. It’s me and my partner’s first Big Dark, and I want to prepare appropriately by getting our indoor lighting set up to try and fend off the lack of natural light throughout the winter.
Obviously SAD/”happy” lamps are recommended, but I’ve never found them effective in their weird iPad-sized form. I’m thinking about building out my own custom lighting that outputs full-spectrum light at various angles to try and simulate a typical long, sunny day, but I know I can’t be the only one who has thought of this.
Some quick searches yielded lighting solutions for contractors/architects, but nothing obvious for consumers.
What do you all use to brighten up your apartments during the day?
