Where do you guys put your bikes?

Those of you who use bikes as your main model of transportation, how do you handle having it around? Getting between work and home makes sense, both places can be planned for, but what about when you want to go out? Do you just leave your bike outside of the bar?

I live in a weird place where the places I want to go are too far to walk, too close to bother with the hassle of traffic + parking, and there aren’t many busses. I was thinking an e-bike would be a convenient way to get around, but I would be so scared of it getting stolen. And I see so many people on bikes, but I feel like I don’t see many bikes parked outside. So what do you guys do with them when you’re just casually hanging around the city?
