Hi everyone,
We currently live in an area within the LWSD school district. We’re planning to purchase a house in the next six months and are seeking recommendations for high schools in the Bellevue School District.
Our child isn’t very interested in sports but is academically strong (a Quest student in LWSD) and aims to pursue data science or biomedical fields in the future. He’s currently in 8th grade and is a sensitive kid, so we’re prioritizing a school with a supportive social environment and minimal bullying.
Could you please recommend high schools that offer strong STEM programs, especially with good computer science options? Having kind and approachable teachers is also a must, as he thrives in a positive and encouraging environment. He’s had a tough time in middle school due to bullying, so we want to ensure his high school experience is much better.
We’re considering Interlake, Bellevue High, Eastlake, and Newport High School but would love to hear about the pros and cons of these schools or any others we might be overlooking.
