Looking for no-judgement cleaning services around Seattle/Bel-Red
I have a small apartment and struggle with anxiety, depression, and ADHD, which often lead to some pretty nasty executive dysfunction.
I’ve always been cluttered, but between working from home since the pandemic and going through a breakup earlier this year, organizing and cleaning my space has really gotten away from me. I wouldn’t say I’ve hit dangerous or hoarding levels yet (nothing overly gross, no bugs, etc…) Just lots of empty boxes and delivery bags, general trash and things not put away.
In short, I’m looking to hire a one time deep cleaning service that can get me to that point – someone to come help me get the trash out, maybe take some old belongings and stuff to the dump/goodwill/other charity type donation. Hell, I don’t even think my floors are carpets are all that dirty under everything, and I’m 100% down to do the old vacuum and mop sweep after… I’m just having trouble getting to that point and am looking for someone to help me get to a “fresh start,” so to speak.
But when I google I feel like all I find are either…
A) Extreme hoarder type services that are expensive and specialize in biohazardous situations and things that really do not apply to me and my situation…
B) a “de-clutter” service that is more of just a coach to teach you organization for something like an office full of papers (not someone to help you get rid of general clutter that’s already there,) or…
C) a general maid service who focuses on the stuff after decluttering… the mopping, vacuuming, etc, but not sure if they would be down to help with just getting rid of the trash and stuff.
I feel like I’m in this weird middle ground where there isn’t someone specifically geared towards helping me… Or, maybe I just don’t know where to turn or what to look for.
My apartment is small (around 700 sq ft iirc) and it’s far from a full on/dangerous hoarding situation like I mentioned… Just a few years of depression build up that I’ve chipped away at but never been able to get ahead of.
Does anyone have any experience with cleaning services or individuals in the area that can help in this regard?
