Pls help me find the stranger who saved my son’s life in front of TOASTED Bagels yesterday.

My toddler got loose and ran full speed into traffic yesterday while the rest of us were half-distracted saying goodbye to friends. A total stranger was paying close enough attention (happened in mere seconds) to literally lunge between parked cars and scoop him from an oncoming car in a very daring, heroic and just above & beyond way.

He absolutely saved his life.

I was able give him a hug and express my gratitude but it was “over” as quickly as it began. Now, as I reflect on what an insane close call it was, I’m sick to my stomach and it doesn’t feel like we did nearly enough to thank him for rescuing our son and our family from the inferno of grief and loss that awaited us.

I’d like to send more tokens of deep appreciation, both now and for years to come.
