i’m local. This course was DOOOPE. Interesting mix of landscapes. Highlights were starting in the city, hilly woods, around UW, gasworks, Ballard/fremont docks, dude handing out bacon next to airplane frames on freight trains.
Weather 9/10. Some of the trail sections around UW seem like they might get muddy for people at slower paces. I got gnarly cramps around mile 24/25 in lower Queen Anne. Seeing the finish line from the sculpture park saved my life 😂☠️
Heavy finisher medal. Cream and indigo race shirt feat Tahoma was v nice. Worth the $210 for reg fee.
