Questions about being an “Add-on” to a Microsoft ProClub membership (Timing, Billing, App Access)

Hi all, I am currently a primary member at Pro Club, but I’m looking to see if I can switch to being an “add-on” member on a friend’s account (who is a Microsoft employee) to save on the monthly fees.

Before I ask them, I want to understand the logistics so I don’t become a burden. Does anyone know the specifics of how this works?

Timing: Can a Microsoft employee add a non-household member/friend at any time of the year, or is it restricted to the annual enrollment window?

Billing (Crucial): Can I have my own payment instrument (credit card) on file for my portion of the dues and my child’s classes? Or does the entire bill have to go through the primary member’s payroll deduction/account? I want to avoid having to Venmo them every month.

App Autonomy: If I am an add-on, is the app experience the same? Specifically, can I book swim classes/camps for my child on my own, or does the primary member have to do it?

Drawbacks for the Primary: Are there any downsides for my friend? Anything except the obvious risk of me not paying the dues?

I would appreciate any info.
