Someone here was claiming that their friend at WSDOT was saying that the Cross Lake Connection would likely be delayed to August and miss the World Cup. Well this article contradicts that.

Someone from ST said in this article that ST is doing everything they can to open the CLC before 5/31. Also, this article said that it is going into pre-reveunue service(the last major step before opening) in the middle of this month. And, if you have been following the ST board meetings, you would know that the testing has been progressing very rapidly and CLC is still on track for an early 2026 opening.
