May be a a big ask, but I’m wondering if anyone has any resources, groups, or boats themselves that would allow me to get back on the water to go sailing? I used to go sailing almost every weekend as a teenager in Sea Scouts and seeing all the white caps on the water last weekend made me giddy to get back on the water. Only problem is that I’m currently a broke student so simply grabbing a rental for a day obviously adds up really fast. I’ve gotten out a few times at Sail Sands Point on their Hobie Waves, but I don’t believe they rent these in the Winter and I don’t want to freeze to death. Even a little Catalina would be an absolute joy. Again, I know this is a big ask but I do love the solitude and freedom of being on the water, so if you have any resources, or are willing to share your boat, please DM.
