hi!!! im moving from Austin TX in a few days, and I’ve been super anxious about there not being much of a weird/avantgarde music scene up there..
right now I go to this thing called MeMerMo at DadaLab in Austin that hosts some really cool artists every Monday, and I’ll miss it a lot.. especially the community 🙁
does anyone know some venues or organizations that regularly host weird music in Seattle? I love field recording, harsh noise, ambient, more angular jazz…
(bonus points if anyone can key me in on the local math rock/sass/mathcore… im a multi-instrumentalist so if any other musicians are into those genres…. hit me up :b)
just really scared about not being able to find like-minded people
