Anyone else in Seattle want to stop unregulated AI?

I am wondering if you have seen Control AI here on reddit?

They have a solid draft plan for regulating AI before it gets out of control entirely.

Anyone else asking the Washington State legislature to stop the madness until we get regulations in place?

The boys with tech toys have flooded the field with billions of dollars from the 1% and tons of debt.

And no adults in the room have stepped up and said basta! We are already burning our planet down wit htoo many fossil fuels. The data centers hogging all the fresh water, polluting farm land after spraying their waste water full of carcinogens…just looks like another corporate grab and go figure the consequences later.

I’d love to see Seattle that gave birth to Microsoft and Amazon give birth to regulation of tech. They already have our children walking around like zombies on their phone corporate trackers all day.

Personally I am appalled at how easily the tech cos data bases have all been stolen from millions of us citizens who have invested tax money in this technology for decades, only to see it used to control us and strip all the wealth out of working people.
