Car had a mysterious non-start issue so was sitting on the street for a long while, and while I was staying with my gf it was towed. I didn’t realize it for a while. Paid them $850 for the towing, daily storage fees, and let them auction it because I sure didn’t have a fix for the starting issue or a legal place to keep the disabled car. Fair enough, it was paid in August.
I have bank proof they cashed the check I sent! How would you handle this? This disgusts me, they’re incredibly predatory, and I thought I was done with them for good.
Do they have ANY power in this situation or do I hold all the power because I have proof they cashed the check. A bit freaked out because they’re such a sheisty company I don’t know what tactics they could use. Any advice or comfort would be helpful, thanks all ✌🏼
