Looking for a good church

I’m looking to go back to church in the new year. I just haven’t found what I’m missing. Is there anything in Bellevue like it?

I used to attend Eastlake Church in Bothell. I haven’t been able to find anything like it since. If you know have ever been there, you’ll understand.

It was a mega church type of setup with the band and lights and dark theater. I loved the energy. It was also a progressive church in its interpretations and messaging.

I can’t seem to find anything like it. The liberal churches in the area like UCC or UU are way too quiet and resemble traditional services in the way they do Sunday services. I don’t want to sing from hymnals to piano music. But the mega churches in the area with bands and energetic services seem too conservative. LGBTQ affirming is a must for me.

There’s gotta be a place. I miss having a church community or any kind of true third place. Thank you for any recommendations!
