I was curious if anybody else has had this problem with UPS in Seattle, as it is a regularly recurring problem at my address. When I have a delivery that requires signature, rather than ring my doorbell and wait for me to answer, the driver will not try to ring/knock and instead just immediately put the “sorry we missed you” sticker on my door.
It makes me wonder if this is just local driver culture, or the byproduct of Seattle UPS over-working drivers and making it impossible for them to make the alloted deliveries in time, forcing them to do a no-knock “non-delivery” to make up time.
