Since joining corporate America I’ve always wanted to work high up in a skyscraper downtown. Unfortunately working in tech has a lot of perks but this is not one of them. Tech workers are typically relegated to a “campus” where the tallest building might be 10 or 12 floors and have no view to speak of.
So I’d like to know – who actually works in those big buildings like Columbia Tower? Bankers? Insurance agents? Realtors? Tbh I’ve been here for over 10 years and never met a single person who works in a skyscraper.
