Just left the public board meeting and if you werent watching, you missed a SHOW. The highlights
• chair of the board, Tom, yelled at a female board member twice! (Once before the meeting was officially called and once during)
• the secretary of the board, Katie, threatened physical violence against the same board member and the public, she said, and I quote “I’m about to start punching people” when she wasn’t given her way
•the chair of the board denied hearing that statement despite the entire room saying they heard it
•a no confidence vote was called for CEO, Roberto Jimenez. Said vote passed
•the secretary then threw another tantrum, stepped down (couldn’t tell if she meant just the secretary position or her board seat as a whole) then tried to resign the head of the board. To which he responded “don’t speak for the chair of the board please”
• Tiffani McCoy of house our neighbors was voted interim CEO
All and all super entertaining meeting.
