PSA: yellow cab app for seatac

I have read some polarizing posts regarding using yellow cabs over Uber/Lyft but decided to bite the bullet this morning for a taxi from downtown Seattle to SeaTac. I have to say the experience was better than expected based on what I read. There is a flat 45$ fee to and from the airport if you book with the seattle yellow cab app and the driver arrived on time and got us safely without any issues. The app is not as slick as Uber or Lyft but rideshare wanted to charge close to 100$ for the ride. Bonus also if you are leaving SeaTac is that the yellow cabs can pick you up at arrivals instead of having to walk to rideshare. I have never seen prices close to 45$ on the apps so this is a no brainer for me. Obviously the light rail is great option too if you don’t have a lot of bags.
