Donations Needed for School Food Bank

I volunteer at Thurgood Marshall Elementary, a Title One school with a lot of low-income families and our food pantry is pretty empty this month. We send a backpack of shelf-stable food home every Friday for up to 40 students. If you’re able to, please buy from our wishlist (below) or order shelf-stable groceries and have them sent to the school (2401 S Irving St, Seattle, WA 98144). High-need items are shelf-stable milk, canned meat and fish, canned fruit and veggies. Nutritious microwavable meals are also great because not all of our kids may have a full kitchen at home or adults around to cook for them. Thanks!
