Pedestrian rights near Amazon building?

I was trying to take the cross walk on Terry & Harrison during peak amazon rush hour. There was an individual who was directing the traffic, so I stood there for couple of minutes to make sure they looked at me and stopped the traffic in both directions so that I could cross.

They kept ignoring me and constantly moved the traffic in both the directions. I had to be somewhere, so i couldn’t keep waiting.

The moment I crossed, they yelled at me that you will get killed and cannot cross till I tell you to.

Is this legal? Are these people Seattle traffic police of just a private company hired by Amazon?

From my best understanding it is my legal right as a pedestrian to cross as a stop sign? Is there a way I can complaint against this to Amazon or the city?

Curious to learn!

What I found on WSDOT website:

Pedestrians must obey traffic signals and traffic control devices unless otherwise directed by a traffic or police officer (RCW 46.61.050).

Drivers shall stop at intersections to allow pedestrians and bicycles to cross the road within a marked or unmarked crosswalk (RCW 46.61.235)
