HB 2266 isn’t being covered by the media, and frankly, it’s an extremely concerning piece of legislation which will override local zoning and ordinances and force cities and counties to allow the development of public housing projects in any residential zone. I am all for finding solution to homelessness but I do not understand how this bill will accomplish that. Here’s a summary of the senate version for you to read and decide for yourself.
